We had high level participation at our first Walk and Bike to School Day last week. Students, parents and staff met up at different spots in our community and began the day together.  San Diego Police provided traffic control while Circulate San Diego and the San Diego Bike Coalition supplied personnel and incentives.  We encourage families to walk or ride together as often as possible.  Official Bike and Walk Days will be held monthly.  A Safety Day and Bike Rodeo are scheduled for Friday, October 28 so students can learn and practice personal safety skills while walking and riding.
