Excessive Heat Advisory

This week, we are anticipating excessive heat in the 80s and 90s.  We will make modifications to keep students safe.  We will remind students to stay hydrated and stay cool in shaded areas.  PE will be held indoor this week if temperatures exceed 80 degrees.

Curriculum Night- Thursday, July 28 @ 5:15pm

Hello Juarez-Lincoln Families!

Welcome once again to the 2022-23 school year! Next week on Thursday, July 28 we are hosting our annual Curriculum Night at Juarez-Lincoln. 

Curriculum Night provides the opportunity for all our families to meet their children’s teachers, visit classrooms, and learn important information. Both sessions will be in your children’s classrooms.

This will be an in-person event.  

Schedule:

5:15 pm-5:45 pm: Session 1 (30 minutes)

5:45 pm-5:55 pm: Transition (10 minutes)

5:55 pm-6:20 pm: Session 2 (25 minutes)

Welcome to the new school year! We are all very excited to once again welcome and see all our Juarez-Lincoln students and families this week.

Residency Verification Due July 19

All Residency Verifications are due July 19. If you have not completed it, please check your email for the link sent from donotreply@cvesd.org. You can also call or visit the main office. 

Main Office Hours are 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday. On Monday, July 18, the main office will extend hour on remain open until 6:00pm to support with in-person Residency Verifications.

Free Covid-19 Test Kits for Students

Dear Parents/Guardians:

I hope you had a great and restful summer.  In anticipation of the start of the school year on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, our site has received COVID-19 testing kits for students. 

We will be distributing the kits to families on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in front of the main office from 10:00am-1:00pm.

We are strongly encouraging parents to test your student on Tuesday or Wednesday morning prior to students returning to campus. If students test positive, please make sure you keep them home to avoid exposure to other students and staff. Testing is NOT required, but highly encouraged.
