Great job everyone. This has been an awesome quarter at Juarez-Lincoln!This quarter, students engaged in amazing tasks in the English language arts, math, social studies, music, art, science, and physical education.  Let’s finish strong this week!
Fall Break begins next week. Students return to school on October 9!
All students will have access to Achieve 3000 and Reflex math over the break.  Support and encourage your child in developing literacy and mathematics skills by continuing to use these programs over the break.  English Learners will have access to Imagine Learning. 

  • Sept. 21: Final School Day of Qtr. 1

  • Sept. 24 – October 8: Fall Break
  • October 9: Students return from break- Regular dismissal

•What are my child’s strengths? (Writing/math/reading)
 

•What are my child’s areas of growth? (Writing/math/reading)
 

•What did my child struggle on on his/her last math test?
 

•What is my child’s Lexile Reading level? What is his/her goal? (Grade 2-6)
 

•What is my child’s DRA Reading level? What is his/her goal?

Visual & Performing Arts Program

This week, all students will begin our VAPA program. They will receive instruction in the visual arts, music, science, and physical education.


Important drop-off and pick-up information:

Traffic is always challenging the first few weeks of the school year. Please be patient and remember that student safety is everyone’s number one priority.

  • Wait until you are in the yellow zone prior to having your child load or unload from the vehicle.
  • Park in only in designated spaces
  • Use crosswalks
  • Students not picked up during dismissal by 3:00p on regular days and 1:55p on minimum days will need to wait inside the front office to be picked up.  Students will only be released to adults authorized to pick them up.

Residency Verification for the 2018 – 2019 school year is now taking place!

ALL students/families MUST complete Residency Verification for the 2018 – 2019 school year. Students will NOT be placed on a class list for the new school year until residency verification has been completed.

Residency verification will take place in the office between 8:45am – 11:15am and 1:45pm – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday.

There will be a special Verification of Residency Night for families unable to verify residency during regular office hours on Wednesday, July 18 from 4:00p-6:00p.

Any of the following forms can be used for residency verification:

  • Cable Bill
  • Gas and Electric Bill
  • Pay Stub
  • Mortgage statement
  • Property Tax payment receipt
  • HOA Bill
  • Rental Agreement
  • Sewer Bill
  • Trash Bill
  • Voter Registration

Please note! The Juarez-Lincoln office is closed and will re-open on Thursday, July 12.
