Hello Juarez-Lincoln Families,

I hope everyone had a restful Spring break. We are all very excited to welcome our students back for the final quarter of the 2020-2021 school year!

School continues this week via distance learning for all students. Please support in ensuring your child has a set place to learn and connect with his or her teacher every morning at 8:15am.

Hybrid and Distance Learning Beginning April 12, 2021

The Chula Vista Elementary School District will begin reopening schools for hybrid in-person learning on April 12, 2021.  In January and February, parents completed a survey and indicated whether they wanted their child to be enrolled in the in-person hybrid model or continue in the distance learning program once CVESD schools begin safely reopening. Beginning April 12, we will begin these two distinct programs. Our office is finalizing rosters early this week based on parent responses.  We will share rostering information this week with all Juarez-Lincoln families. Please note that we are doing our absolute best to accommodate all preferences, but changes in teacher occur or am/pm session preference may occur.

In preparation for next week, teachers this week will provide 3 hours of live synchronous instruction. Teacher will assign asynchronous task for the remainder of the school day.

Due to upcoming necessary schedule changes, our VAPA team will no longer provide Afterschool Clubs and GATE sessions on Mondays. The VAPA team has made arrangements to inform their students.

Devices for Distance Learning:

If your child needs a device to access the Distance Learning program, please complete a request by completing the link below. Once you have completed the link, call the main office at 619-690-9222.  We currently have devices available for immediate pick up. 

THIS WEEK, we will be providing device support and distribution on WEDNESDAYS, and FRIDAYS between 11am-1pm.
