Hello Juarez-Lincoln Families,
School continues this week through Distance Learning. All our staff will continue to strive to create the conditions for an excellent and meaningful Distance Learning experience. Students and teachers will continue connecting every day and students will develop literacies in the language arts, math, music, art, science, and physical education. We will also strive to also ensure our students develop social and emotional wellness, as well as their inner potential.
Please support in ensuring your child has a set place to learn and connect with his or her teacher every morning at 8:15am.
Back 2 School Night
This week, we have Back-2-School Night! You will have an opportunity to meet and your child’s teacher and learn some important information about the school year. You child’s teacher will communicate with you this week with information on how to connect. Some teachers may meet through Zoom.

Session 2: 5:25pm – 5:40 pm
Q & A with Teachers: 5:40pm – 6:00pm
Music Instruction
Music instruction begins this week with our new music teacher, Mr. Stefanos Pandis. Kindergarten through 3rd grade students will receive 30 minutes of music instruction once this week. Grade 4 through 6 students will receive 45 minutes of music instruction once this week.

2020-2021 Device Distributions:
This week, we will distribute loaner devices to families that submitted a device request in phase VI. We will distribute devices this week on Monday-Friday, between 10am-12pm. If you requested a device in Phase VI, your child’s device is now ready for pick up. Please complete the CVESD Release Form PRIOR to picking up the device.

This week we are only distributing devices and no hot spots.
Any Phase I-V Devices not picked up, have been be re-assigned to students on the waitlist if you still need a device, you will need to re-submit a request in Phase VII.

If your child needs a loaner device to connect with the teacher, please click the link below by 3pm Thursday, September 17, to request a device. You will be placed on a waitlist. We are working on securing a device for all students who need one.

Are you having trouble with your ThinkPad device?
If you borrowed a Lenovo ThinkPad device from our school and you are having issues with sound and camera, bring it by Juarez-Lincoln and we will adjust the settings to ensure the device is functioning properly.
We will have staff at Juarez-Lincoln this week in front of the school to provide tech support between 10:00am-12:00pm.
Parent Tech Helpline:
Our District has also established a Parent Helpline to provide technical support with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams, as well as assistance for District-adopted online programs (i.e. Achieve 3000). Office hours are Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The parent helpline number is 619-409-6638.
