Hello Juarez-Lincoln families,
I hope everyone’s summer break is off to a healthy start.
I wanted to share my appreciation for everyone’s collective efforts in adapting to school closures this school year. Though school closures have caused unprecedented changes in many of our lives, I have heard many success stories of new and innovative ways teachers and students connected to keep learning alive and well. Thanks again to teachers, parents, and students for working as partners as we overcome this pandemic together.
Moving forward, we still do not have the exact return date for the 2020-2021 school year. This topic will be addressed at the upcoming June CVESD Board meeting. Once we have that date and other important information, I will communicate it to the Juarez-Lincoln community via School Messenger and on our website, www.JuarezLincolnSchool.com.

This will be the final opportunity to return books until we reopen next year.
We Need Your Input: Parent Survey on Distance Learning Plan and School Reopening
With the current school year winding down under distance learning, plans for the next school year are being developed with a number of possible reopening plans under consideration. We understand that every family has a unique situation, whether health status, or comfort level in regard to reopening campuses. This brief, but important survey will help guide us as we consider staffing needs and models for teaching whether physically in person in a classroom, online in a virtual classroom, or a combination of both. The purpose of this SURVEY is to measure your experience and the experience of your child(ren) this 2019-20 academic year, and to assist schools in planning for the 2020-21 school year. The survey takes just a few minutes. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Meal Distribution
Juarez-Lincoln will continue distributing meals this week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. District and school staff will distribute meals from 10am-12pm. Meals are intended for children between the ages of 1 to 18 and child must be present. When you pull up, please open the trunk of your vehicle and a CNS Staff will place the meal in your trunk.
As always, thank you for your partnership and support. I wish everyone a safe and relaxing summer. Please take good care and we look forward to seeing everyone in the 2020-2021 school year!
Warm regards,
Robert Pollack, Principal
