Help us to celebrate healthy lifestyle choices this week during Red Ribbon Week.  This week’s schedule includes:

Tuesday-Law Enforcement Day from 8:30-11:00am.  Multiple agencies will visit our campus and talk to kids about careers in Law Enforcement, military, and as first responders.  There will be K9 demonstrations, Border Patrol horses, and the main event is the Sheriff’s helicopter will land on our field at 9:30!  Hope you can join us!

Friday-Bike and Walk to School Day.

Friday-Safety Day.  Students will participate in assemblies related to bicycle and pedestrian safety. Afterwards, students will practice bike-riding skills (approaching a stop sign, looking over your shoulder, using signals, etc) on the playground as they maneuver through cones.  Younger students can also have a chance to learn how to ride a bike. Parent volunteers are needed!

At 2:00 we will have an all-school bike ride from Juarez-Lincoln to Silver Wing Park to the BorderView YMCA and back to school.  Come and join the fun!
